Why We Built Our Own AI
When we started Chapter-01, we had a choice: use third-party AI services or build our own infrastructure. Third-party would have been faster and cheaper to start. We chose to build in-house anyway.
The reason is simple: when you use external AI services, your data passes through their systems. Their terms of service often allow using that data to improve their models. Your resume could theoretically contribute to training AI that serves any purpose.
We didn't want that for our users. So we built our own.
